My Morning Beauty Regime

I am a perfectionist. I have always been thorough with my skincare, your face is important should be treated with the utmost care.

My Tried & True Beauty Rituals

Without fail, I drink 2 litres is water a day and get enough sleep. I take collagen daily which I add to a smoothie. I believe this helps my skin elasticity and is key to a healthy youthful complexion. Either of the two drinks below give you that glow:

Drinks That Work

Complexion smoothie: 2 scoops of collagen, any non dairy milk of choice, ice, small banana, teaspoon of crunchy but peanut butter.

Complexion coffee: cup of instant coffee, but two scoops of collagen in and stir well, add ice, two dates & whiz in a Nutri-bullet.

My Morning Skin Routine

Step 1: Cleansing

It depends on how I feel but I switch between Shu Uemura Skin Purifier Cleansing Oil which I wash off with water and Dr Sebagh Foaming Cleanser if I want a squeaky clean feel.

Every other day I used Zo Skin Health Exfoliating Polish, I consider it the best exfoliator, it is made up with magnesium crystals and it works. On the other days I use the Dr Sebagh Deep Exfoliating Mask. You massage it into clean dry skin and leave on for 3 - 5 minutes before rinsing off thoroughly. Both of these products give you brighter, smoother and more glowing skin. Trust me.

Step Two : My Favourite Morning Mask

It is a treat to put on Dr Sebagh Skin Perfecting Mask afterwards for 5 - 10 mins, after washing off you can feel and see that it has worked. The clay in the formula is from Brittany and it is packed with minerals, it deep cleans, absorbs excess oil, tightens, soothes, evens out skin and leaves it feeling abundantly soft.

Step Three : Serums Are A Girl’s Best Friend

Before I put on my mask, I need the Chantecaille Rose Water Toner which prepares and refreshes my skin - a crucial step before I put on serums, it allows them to better penetrate. Afterwards I really enjoy applying my wardrobe of serums from Dr Sebagh. I prefer his serums to any other brand as I know they work. You can also mix the serums together to make a rather gorgeous serum cocktail.

I don’t use retinols as I find them personally too harsh for my complexion, I would rather use serums which I believe do a great job.

Rose de Vie: it is organic rose oil and unlike other oils, it does not block pores. It reduces skin redness, calming, moisturising, replenishes, anti oxidant and obviously anti ageing. It does what it says beautifully.

Serum Repair: it combines 60% Hyaluronic acid and has an anti ageing collagen peptide. Only one drop is needed and it is supper effective.

Supreme Maintenance Youth Serum: It is cult. It has the highest concentration of active ingredients in any skin care product on the market today. 95% active ingredients includes anti oxidant vitamin C, the youth molecule Resveratrol, Hyaluronic acid, three anti ageing peptides and a pollution filter as well as a complex that gives a healthy looking glow. For an extra glow you can add Dr Sebagh’s Self Tanning Drops to this serum, or the serum repair serum for a touch of bronze.

As a special treat I sometimes use Platinum Gold Elixir. This is an opulent serum formulated with platinum and gold peptides to help boost collagen.

I am using Chantecaille Gold Recovery Intense Concentrate this month as a special treatment. It is a super charged serum of natural botanicals and 24k gold heptapeptide, hexapeptide amplified with amino acid copper complex and lipopeptides. As you can see, I like my skincare and as a perfectionist, I do my research.

As an alternative Vitamin C to throw into my mix, I do sometimes use Obagi Professional-C Serum 20% it is my favourite liquid form of sunshine.

My favourite eye product is Dr Sebagh’s Supreme Eye Serum. I keep it in the fridge and it has a roller ball at the end, so it’s excellent at de puffing. It is the best eye product I have ever used.

Step Four : Moisturising

I use Dr Sebagh’s Pure Vitamin C Powder Cream which is Vitamin C in its most potent and concentrated form. I mix a small amount with a serum. It brightens and gives your complexion a radiance boost.

It is always a luxury using Dr Sebagh’s moisturisers. I like Supreme Day cream and Supreme night cream, I also use the neck lift. Simply put they are lovely and sit well on his serums.

My son is nearly 13 and he is using Dr Sebagh’s break out cream with the breakout powder and his acne has almost vanished after using it for two weeks!

I also enjoy using Augustinus Bader The Cream & The Rich Cream for a change. He has invented a powerful trigger factor complex, with 40 different molecules including natural amino acids, vitamins and synthesised molecules making the skin renew and regenerate with a youthful, healthy glow.

To be extra fabulous, I always finish with Dr Sebagh Luminous Glow Cream under my make up as it gives you the perfect youthful glow.

Looking after my complexion has always been time for myself to relax. Some do mindfulness. I do Dr Sebagh with a few other carefully chosen products thrown into the mix and I am happy with the result.
