Being a Net-A-Porter EIP

Living in the country, Net-A-Porter was a godsend. You didn’t miss London quite as much, as London could come to you. Arriving on your doorstep in a black boxed, ribbon tied flourish. Seductively wrapped in tissue paper, Mayfair had arrived in the sticks. It was the glam that kept me going through babies, exquisite designer pieces that gently reminded me who I was.

So… what is the EIP Program?

As you can imagine I was rather humbled when the charming Anthony contacted me from Net-A-Porter to announce I had been invited to join the EIP (Extremely Important Person) section of Net-A-Porter. Rather like a genie in a bottle Anthony talked me through my magical wishes... then things began to happen.

“After all, we all need a little gold dust in our lives.”

Beautifully wrapped Jo Malone candles arrived with a formal invitation to join the club. He would take care of all my shopping needs. I would have pieces taken off the website and reserved for me, before they sell out.

I would be invited to glamorous international events. Looks would be carefully tailored for me, with either new brands, exclusive designer collections, fine jewellery or specific looks tailored for any special occasion. I would have regular emails about ‘New Arrival’ highlights which I could shop 24-48 hours before the public.

All orders placed on my behalf would be fast tracked. Surprise vouches would arrive on my birthday. When I first shop with Anthony, as a gesture of good will, 15% discount would be added. My favourite pieces would be secured months in advance, so to avoid missing out on the gold dust items such as Bottega Veneta bags, Amina Muaddi heels and hype sneaker releases.

In my case, Net-A-Porter always gave me a beguiling selection of The Vampire’s Wife dresses which had me well and truly hooked. An addiction needs feeding, Net-A-Porter is my poison and the EIP makes shopping a delightful experience.

After all, we all need a little gold dust in our lives.
